Why wouldn't I hire a full-time designer?

Good question! The costs to hire a full-time senior designer is now $80,000, plus benefits, payroll costs, onboarding & HR costs. Aside from that, you will not always have enough work to keep them busy, so you're stuck paying for time you are not able to utilize.

With our subscription you can scale up or down, pause or cancel as often as you need to ensure you are paying your drafter/designer when you have work.

How fast will I receive my designs?

On average, most requests can be completed in just two days or less. However, more complex tasks may take longer. Book a call if you have any other questions or concerns.

What will I receive in 48 hours?

Typical requests are delivered in 48 hours on average. If a request is much larger in size, expect to receive deliverables every 24 hours until the request is complete.

Who are the designers/drafters?

You might be surprised to hear this, but Design & Drafting is an agency of one. This means you'll work directly with me, founder of Design & Drafting.

Is there a limit to the number of requests I can have?

Once subscribed, you're are able to add as many design requests to your Trello board queue as you like, and they will be delivered one by one.

How does the pause feature work?

We understand you may not have enough work to fill an entire month. Perhaps you only have one or two design requests at the moment. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.

Billing cycles are based on a 31 days period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.

How do you handle larger requests?

Larger requests are broken down on Design & Drafting's end. You should expect to receive a reasonable amount of work every 24-48 hours until the entire request is done.

How do I request designs?

Design & Drafting offers a lot of flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. Some common ways clients request designs is directly via Trello, sharing Google docs, PDF's, PNG, JPEG, zipped files and there are options to upload audio and/or notes. Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

What if I don't like the design/draft?

No worries! We'll continue to revise the design until you're 100% satisfied.

Is there any work you don't cover?

Absolutely. As I am not a licensed architect or engineer, your licensed in-house architect or engineer is required to validate/stamp all specifications.

Are there any refunds?

Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.

What programs do you use?

Currently, I do all of my work through Revit and Autocad with an emphasis on Revit. Civil3D is coming soon.

I am willing to learn and bring on other programs, however, you must supply the license for it.
